Finally after long waits and careful time planning from our sponsor, GamesFree.com, PacketRush is finally released :).
The game is a semi top-down driving / delivery game. You play by controlling the van to pickup and drop items. There are 5 stages, 15 levels, and 1 bonus stage. Upgrade the van for better performance and choose a variety of van body paint / skins if you like :). Visual style is in 3D with pixel art textures.
I hope you enjoy the game, play it here!

PacketRush was finally finished on the 3rd week of December. We've also got a sponsor for it, the same one that sponsored SkyFyre: gamesfree.com (I think we might start being a partner studio for them now :P). License is a primary, for 3 weeks. It's not released yet, probably 1st or 2nd week in January. Until then, I hope the game brings enjoyment to players and good traffic for our sponsor.
In the meantime, we're trying to do 2 games at once. One is a simple "birds-view" shooter, in 3D with pixel-art textures, with a working title 'Humans vs Aliens'. The plot is quite straightforward: aliens came to earth, made peace but then found deceitful, thus invading us pity-humans. The aliens took over White House and controlled the US! You will be playing the role of Jeff, an ex-marine that got sick of it all and decided to take a stand. There will be 10 levels, including a level inside the White House :).
The art will be chibi-like, bright colors, low-poly 3D. We think it will closely look somewhat like the NDS game "Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ", probably less detailed.

Here's something we've been doing for the past 4 - 8 weeks now.
It's a car game about delivering packets :). Set on a 3D, pixel-art textured, world, navigate and help Toby McCourier gain fame by being the best courier in town! We've been using Away3D, jiglib physics and flint particle systems to come up with what we have now. There will be 5 areas, 15 missions and 7 environments to keep things interesting and challenging. We also have plans to implement GamerSafe to add a little bit of content for people really enjoying the game.
Currently it's pretty much inaccessible from public, but testers keen to beta-test can apply :). Just drop me an email to gsarwohadi [at] gmail [dot] com, or info [at] soybeansoft [dot] com.

This isn't actually recent, as SkyFyre was released on Sept 5th at GamesFree.com. Hadn't the time to put it up here, but after a small incident in Kongregate (a thief put SkyFyre up on his account), I eventually had to release it at Kong. That leads to a ton of feedback regarding bugs and broken gameplay, etc. It took a while and several updates to finally have a solid version.
The game is a horizontal shooter and not just a shooter, it's more into the danmaku style. If you haven't played jSHMUP before, then danmaku is a term that can be translated freely as 'bullet curtain'. Which means, it's a lot like bullet-hell kind of shmup, although I'd probably say this is semi-danmaku (to keep the expectations from hardcore shmup fans low :D).
Some statistics.. Dev time: 16 weeks. Code & design: Guntur "Soybean" Sarwohadi. Artist & design: Eri "Awra" Setiyono. Sponsor: GamesFree.com. QA Support: dmhdragon.
I hope you enjoy the game!

Overlooking at the other participants, it seems that competition is going to be tough.. lot's of very nice games out there! I'm also glad to see there are already 3 of my fellow countrymen taking part of the contest.
Play the game here. If you find any bugs or have suggestions, please drop a line at my email gsarwohadi -[at]- gmail -[dot]- com. As a closing, I hope you enjoy the game!

We're currently working on a wordgame for the current MochiMedia's contest with dictionary.com. The game is called 'Mantra' and I hope would attract the juries and win the #1 prize :D:D:D.
Should be released soon. So stay tuned :).
